Rachel Givens

Rachel Givens, age 74 of Murfreesboro, died Saturday June 2, 2018 at her home.

She was born in Oak Ridge, TN and was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Harrell Mayes and Mary Elizabeth Evans Mayes, a sister, Ann Wright. Mrs. Givens was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church and was a faithful Volunteer at St. Marks, and helped start the Stephen Ministry as a Stephen Leader. She had attended UT Knoxville and majored in English. Mrs. Givens worked for Morris Newspaper Company and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
